When Mingle first launched, it helped pioneer the non-alcoholic RTD category - but as new brands flooded the space, our look no longer reflected our leadership or bold personality. The challenge was simple: how can we make Mingle the number one non-alcoholic cocktail in the category?

We set out to modernize the brand’s visual identity to feel more playful, confident, and premium - something consumers would recognize, crave, and proudly share.

As Creative Marketing Manager, I led the refresh from concept to execution, overseeing creative direction, packaging design, and retail integration to build a cohesive, elevated, and category-leading identity that did more than look good - it drove growth, built awareness, and reinforced Mingle as the most inclusive, flavor-forward brand in the space.

The Problem

As the non-alcoholic space grew, the shelf became saturated with minimalist, look-alike brands - making it harder for Mingle’s bold, social personality to shine through. Our original packaging didn’t capture the flavor-forward energy that sets Mingle apart, and design inconsistencies across cans, 4-packs, and trays diluted impact. We needed a unified visual system that worked seamlessly across digital, print, and retail to strengthen recognition and stand out in a crowded category.

The Solution

We reimagined Mingle’s identity to stand out boldly and confidently in a crowded category. The refresh introduced a brighter color palette, refined typography, and a cohesive packaging system that unified cans, 4-packs, and trays. Updated brand guidelines and retail materials extended the new look across every touchpoint - creating a consistent, flavor-forward identity that felt unmistakably Mingle.
